The official iOS Competitor App for the world-famous Cowes Week sailing regatta which runs from the 10th-17th August 2019.
The App provides those taking part with a unique view their own personal schedule of racing, course information for the day (including distance and bearing to each mark), race announcements, results, the official wind forecast that the course setters are working to and the key social events taking place ashore. It also provides background GPS tracking of the boat during each race to assist the race organisers in managing the racing, in accordance with the conditions published in the Notice of Regatta and Sailing Instructions.
PLEASE NOTE: This App requires a registration code which will be provided to those taking part in the event.
Please also note that while we take great care to minimise the impact on your battery life by limiting how often we collect location data, continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
